Help Center

Guides for every part of the game, answers to common questions and a direct line to us.

Get started

What you see the first time you open Ball Cards.

First launch

  1. A short start screen, then three onboarding pages. Swipe or tap Next.
  2. Tap Start playing. iOS asks whether Ball Cards may send a daily reminder; you can answer either way.
  3. The Play tab opens with level 1-1 “First Pass” ready under Continue.

The four tabs

  • Play: Continue, Today's puzzle, Training and your leagues.
  • Leagues: one map with all five leagues and their levels.
  • Album: the ten cards, their rules and how to unlock them.
  • Profile: trophy case, awards and settings.

Playing a level

Your first goal takes two cards.

Score in level 1-1

  1. Tap the Short pass card, then tap player 10.
  2. Tap the Shot card, then tap the right corner of the goal.
  3. The move plays out: goal, and the result screen shows your stars.

Stars, hints and Undo

  • Stars: one for the goal, one for staying within par, one for a style card played without hints.
  • The light bulb shows the next correct card and target, then recharges for 30 seconds.
  • Undo and Redo sit at the bottom right. The “i” on a raised card shows its rule.
  • The X at the top left pauses: Resume, Restart or Quit level.

Progress

Leagues, daily play and your saved data.

Leagues and modes

  • Stars open new leagues: 20 for Offside, 45 for Set pieces, 75 for Keeper, 110 for The press.
  • Today's puzzle is one puzzle a day from the leagues you have opened. Solve it daily to grow your streak.
  • Training gives a new puzzle every time you tap New puzzle.

Your saved data

  • Progress is saved on your iPhone automatically, including a move you left halfway.
  • Profile → Show tutorial again brings the tips back.
  • Profile → Reset progress erases everything; you have 5 seconds to tap Undo.
  • Deleting the App also deletes your progress.

Troubleshooting

My move keeps failing. Is the level broken?

Every level has a solution checked by a solver. Look at the card highlighted in red and the message under the pitch: it names the reason, such as an interception by a numbered defender, offside or a save. Try the hint if you are stuck.

Why didn't I get the third star?

The third star needs a style card and no hints on that try. Using the light bulb switches the style star off until you restart the level.

I don't get the daily reminder.

Check Profile → Daily reminder in the App and iOS Settings → Notifications → Ball Cards. If you declined the permission at first launch, allow it in iOS Settings.

Saving a share card to Photos doesn't work.

Ball Cards needs permission to add photos. Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Ball Cards and allow adding photos.

Can I move my progress to a new iPhone?

Progress is stored on the device, so it moves with an iCloud or computer backup restored to the new iPhone. There is no account to sign in to.

How do I report a bug?

Email [email protected] with the league and level, what you expected and what happened, your iPhone model and iOS version. A screenshot helps a lot.
